Will I receive anything to commemorate the event?
Yes! All who successfully do the fire walk will receive a limited edition Mikeysline Fire Walk 2024 lapel pin - made from hard enamel, and a completion certificate.
About
Walking on fire is against human nature, everything in our brain should be telling us that it is impossible to do and self preservation should be kicking in, however for those who struggle with mental health they have to fight their own internal fire daily. So for a few seconds, could you have the courage to do what your body tells you is impossible, walk on fire and take a step in their shoes?
We have very limited numbers available to do this once in a lifetime event, if you would like to help us fund raise for Mikeysline please register as a Fundraiser, there is a £30 registration fee which helps cover the costs of running this event plus a £50 minimum sponsorship pledge . Raise over £250 and registration you have the option to have your registration fee free.
Not looking to fund raise but still want to do this fantastic event? Sign up as a non-fundraiser and simply pay the registration fee of £80 and turn up on the day.
The event will start at approx. 7pm to go through safety practice and other important aspect, with a start time of approx. 8:30pm - sunset so we can have the full effect of the embers.
Location is still to be confirmed however will be within Inverness as will depend on the final numbers.
There will be loads of things going on in the background for spectators to do while you wait for your turn.
The event will be strictly done by professional fire walking company Firewalk Scotland. Mikeysline is an inspirational local charity who are dedicated to assisting people who require mental health support or suicide prevention, often helping anyone at their lowest points.
